Diwali
In Maths the pupils designed rangoli patterns, these patterns are created on the floor in living rooms or courtyards using materials such as coloured rice, dry flour, coloured sand or flower petals.
The year eight boys then created a rangoli pattern to welcome people into the Food Technology room.
Pupils learnt why the festival takes place and how it is celebrated in Britain.
They learnt about Indian foods and made Indian dishes.

The behaviour and safety of pupils are outstanding. Exceptionally skilful behaviour management systems have been developed by school leaders.
Pupils are very proud of their achievements. Pupils speak with warmth about their successes in physical challenges away from school.
