Pupils Ben G, Corey, Jordan D and Lexxie enjoyed a wonderful day at the Cotswold Airport on Wednesday this week.

Organised by the Virtual School in conjunction with fly2help, the Aim High one day taster programme was aimed at young people who may be interested in a career in Aviation.

It was a fun packed day with pupils especially enjoying the Helicopter Simulator, firefighting as well as seeing all of the magnificent airplanes around the airport, first aid training with the fire crew, a visit and talk at the Control Tower and an engineering-focussed hands on activity in which the pupils had to work as a team in a limited amount of time to complete a project.

The day was a huge success and thanks go to the Virtual School and fly2help
